A basketball shoe collection is not as interesting and stylish as an indoor collection. First of all, because the shoes are limited in space, you have to be practical and to use functional furniture and clever solutions such as storage spaces under the beds or in the closet. You can have shelves under the beds or you can create a series of specialized compartments for the shoes, either for the indoor and outdoor areas or for the private and delicate pieces of the house. There are lots of different shoe storage ideas to choose from.
One option would be to have a series of shelves placed on one side of the bed. They’re narrow and just as simple. You can put there extra pairs of shoes as well as some hand shoes and so on. You can even create a colorful mosaic of colors on the shelves or to recycle for the kickoff of every event or holiday.
Another idea would be to have one or two shelves with different shapes and sizes. This way you can create a more complex storage system for a lot of shoes. If you put them in the closet, they’ll be right there where you need them. For the rest of the items you can use a shelf or a storage cabinet.
Another great idea would be to have a theme for the whole storage system. For example, if you have a large collection of basketball shoes, you can arrange them by color, style, size or however else you want. Have a cabinet with different peg holes, larger and smaller, with wooden doors and with glass panels so you can see inside all the shoes.
If you have a collection of boots that you keep for various reasons, you can use a series of tiered storage compartments of different shapes and sizes. They can be organized by size, color, purpose or however else you want. It’s a nice idea for the entryway as well as for any other similar space.
