I might have tucked away my much loved painting table in a cabinet… Or I might have tucked it away in a corner. Either way, I have always been drawn to paint. There’s something about the process of creating these masterpiece pieces that is so therapeutic. They seem so hard to control, and yet when you see the final result, you just want to keep going! Which is why today we’ve decided to share some of our favorite paint projects with you.
Let’s start with paint design. The sky is the limit in this field, so why not let your creativity take flight? Grab a few paints of the same color and create an ombre effect. More solid hues will make the painting look a bit heavier – which in turn will bring out the color in the rest of the room!
Add a bit of bronze glam to your paint colors with silver glitter. The idea is to sprinkle the glitter around the paint in golden frames. The glitter will catch the light and brighten up the whole room! Bonus points if you get chosen to use more than one color of paint (like golds)!
Speaking of golden, I just couldn’t get over these fantastic amethyst paint colors! The lightness captured here is exactly what the room needed to feel sophisticated and chic!
Go for a basic neutral color on the walls with a few extra coats of paint. This will help create a versatile space that will blend into the rest of your home. Some rooms are specialty spaces that need a certain extra punch!
Go big with some bright paint colors. But don’t be afraid to go extra-large with your bold scheme. This room is posh but not in a cluttered hat sense. It’s just plain awesome!
The idea here is simple but the result is anything but plain. The bright paint color helps to create a warm atmosphere that’s easy to enjoy. The room becomes a more intimate place and definitely more lived-in.
If you’re feeling like you need a bit of a bolder look (but not too crazy a crazy color), try bright orange. It’ll be easier to get away with the rest of the room if you paint a wall black.
Black Paint on Black Walls.
Imagine this. It’s black and smooth and beautiful. This is basically a neutral solution to a colorful wall, and the wonderful part is that it’s so smooth.
This look is great for the modern farmhouse style home, but it can be used in a variety of other ways. Perhaps when using a bright, crisp color like this, you’d want to opt for a deep, rich, glossy look first, to prevent the room from becoming too cold.
Then simply add some finishing touches – a bar of soap, a candle, a tile, even a rug. Anytime you need a quick pick me up, there’s a way to do it. And this way, as you can see, sometimes that dash of color can do wonders.
A little bit of fringe.
Glitter has already flourished into this world and it’s necessary to properly showcase it before you start committing to it. The result is a friendly space that makes you want to come in.
The tips above can help you make the perfect decision for your home and which colors will help you choose the right shade.
