Even though most homes have rigid layouts, sometimes Fennigu’s can be more flexible with a more minimalist approach. In the bathroom, those inconsistencies can actually be a real asset, since this room is meant to be functional and self-sufficient. Bodema Byija designed a bathroom that is especially bright and airy.
The designer bought a loft in a large loft apartment in central London and redesigned the bathroom to bring forward some of his personality. By doing this, he got a better gauge of how different materials he could use. Shower tiles that were used on the walls are a little more artful than the traditional ones, but they still needed to be there, so they had to be used.
The designer ended up using wood, glass, iron and concrete for the structural elements, but also added some modern elements, such as the sprinkler and modern fixtures. To add more character, the designer decorated the bathroom with framed graffiti and spray paint.
