Located in Tokyo, Japan, this unusual and eye-catching structure was designed and built by Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architecture. It’s a tree house and it has a very unusual and unusual design. When you look at it from the outside you might not realize that this structure is actually just a regular house with a small window on the top floor and with a view of the forest. Of course, once you step inside, everything becomes clearer.
The interior of the tree house is simple and very charming. It’s decorated with a minimalist yet textured design and it has a very unique look. There’s not a lot of furniture throughout. The whole space is organized in such a way that’s both comfortable and practical. The palette of materials and textures used for this project includes a lot of wood which adds warmth to the décor and makes the atmosphere feel more relaxing.
The tree house is actually more like a structure made of several wooden cabins that have been arranged around a central seating core. Each cabin is a separate room and they have both small windows that open and appear to be floating, creating an artistic look and allowing the cabin to become one with the landscape.
The location is such that starting from a small number of cabins and building upward, the tree house site becomes a very interesting structure. It’s not the most visually-pleasing structure in the area. After that, the actual structure of the cabins is started from there and gradually gets larger. The tree house is placed close to the forest, hidden from view but still allowed to be managed by the guests. This way the image is less striking.
